I’m Phil Clement, President of the London Club and CMO for Aon – a global firm with $11B+ in revenue, 78 thousand colleagues and offices in 120 countries. In my role I focus on marketing that supports the firm’s strategic plans for industry leadership, growth and globalization. At Aon I have enjoyed a wide variety of tasks – from rolling out SFDC, to leading ‘client voice’ programmes such as NPS, to globalizing our brand to become a top B2B brand (including a sponsorship Manchester United). I ‘pride’ myself on being a LGBT ally and sitting on Aon’s diversity council.
Prior to Aon I enjoyed founding The Clement Group, a management consultancy firm which specialised in growth. Prior to that I held growth focused roles at technology companies Inforte Corporation and Wizdom Systems Inc. Common themes in my career have been the combination of the quantitative and the creative, usually with a focus on growth. I tend to pull from a varied background that ranges from econometrics to anthropology to film-making, I picked up a lot of these skills whilst studying at University of Southern California and the University of Chicago and Booth School of Business.
Currently I’m residing in London, however originally from Seattle which is where my love of the great outdoors originated. My interest in marketing is both professional and personal; I enjoy studying great marketing and reading about thoughtful analytics. Otherwise I enjoy creating photos, film-making and spending time with my family.
