If I had one more hour a day… I would write. In today’s short burst twitter and headline world, we don’t spend enough time forming full thoughts. Not all great thinkers are great writers, but it’s impossible to be a good writer without being a good thinker. Writing helps us hone ideas, build plans, and remember the things that matter.

If I had one more hour in my day, I would use that time wisely and get some more rest and sleep.

Professionally I’d use the hour to hand write a few thank you notes than right now I send via email. Snail mail is a lost art form and while my handwriting leaves something to be desired, there’s something special about receiving a note written… the thoughts mean something a bit more. Personally, I’d use it to work on my first serve. It’s killing my tennis game!

An extra hour at work would mean more time for coaching (coaching someone and being coached), that’s really the most rewarding part of my job
Outside of work, it would have to be an hour of dancing, I can’t stay in a bad mood when the music lifts me up, so that’s my go-to stress reliever.

If I had one more hour in my day, I would use it for more project based planning. As I am responsible for both strategy and marketing, I spend a great deal of time thinking about our business moving forward. However, more time thinking through or facilitating the nuts and bolts of cross functional project-level work always yields better results and ultimately contributes positively to long term plans.

An hour is a luxury and long enough to binge Netflix, work out, read and nap.
Terry Haley, Chief Growth Officer, Hopdoddy Burger Bar
Easy, if BOTH my wife and I could carve out one extra hour I would use it to sit, relax, have a beverage and just talk together. With the job, two young kiddos I cherish that time as it is tough to find.
