, and they have a patented technology that converts liquid egg to solid matter, creating multiple food forms. More importantly, all Egglife products have simple ingredients, are high in protein and free from sugar, fat and gluten. Just imagine how many consumers want or need foods like this. Their vision is to be a leading consumer business providing healthy, fresh, simple foods and snacks for everyone. Egglife was present at Expo West recently, with a proven and tested product, and retail customer demand is accelerating quickly.
Egglife was developed independently by an employee of Rose Acre Farms, the second-largest egg producer in the United States and the third-largest in the world. Rose Acre Farms is funding the development of Egglife. Rose Acre is a 70-year old family-owned business, and they believe that providing quality eggs and egg products and being a leader in animal welfare go hand-in-hand. Rose Acre Farms is headquartered in Seymour, IN and their new Egglife production facility is located in Wolcott, IN, about 90 minutes south of Chicago, by car.
We’re seeking a seasoned, entrepreneurial CEO who can further develop and operationalize the Egglife growth strategy, execute successfully against that plan, build a leadership team and successfully lead the company into test market in late 2019. Longer-term, the mission for the CEO is to turn Egglife into a leading innovator of simple, healthy, great-tasting, fresh foods, with an outspoken and relevant brand voice and purpose. The new CEO—and his/her senior team—will be headquartered in Chicago’s downtown West Loop.
The candidates we’re seeking have the following experience profile:
- Food, Beverage – Blue chip CPG experience in a Food or Beverage company
- Sales, Marketing – Ideally, we want someone with a strong foundation in Sales or Brand
- General Management – Proven ability to manage multiple functions and the P&L
- Large to Small – Entrepreneurial experience, ideally in a smaller PE-owned business
- Team-Building – Must bring a commitment to building and developing others
