Entrepreneurial, customer-focused real estate franchisor is offering an immediate opportunity for a Chief Marketing Officer to lead the marketing efforts of the industrys largest real estate franchise in the world. Century 21 has 102,000 sales associates worldwide through 6900 offices spanning across 75 countries. This position will lead the strategy and execution of the global marketing efforts to drive market share growth for CENTURY 21 Real Estate, LLC. The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for leading the strategy development and program execution of all consumer, broker, and agent marketing programs. The position will support the companys strategy for market share growth by developing and implementing programs for: digital marketing, national advertising, brand management, agent and broker growth marketing efforts and public relations and communications.

We are currently looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to be based at our worldwide headquarters in Madison, NJ.


Work closely with President & CEO and other brand executives to develop long range market share growth strategy with nearer term plans, goals, and growth objectives
Lead the development and cross-departmental integration of a domestic marketing strategy in direct support of the market share growth strategy of the brand
Work closely with Operations, Learning, and Regional Servicing teams to ensure the needs of the customer are understood and that the business can strategically and tactically position itself to meet them
Understand market conditions to identify threats and opportunities and adapt strategy to changing market conditions.
Define and deliver an annual global marketing plan in support of the domestic marketing strategy including: national advertising, localized advertising, interactive marketing and technology, brand publicity/public relations, internal communications, sales support, agent and manager recruiting, and promotional activities
Manage external agency relationships
Regularly and systematically evaluate the results of marketing strategy and programs by ROI and report findings/trends to President
Responsible for optimizing an annual marketing budget to ensure key financial metrics are achieved
Provide decisive leadership the Century 21 marketing team through effective recruitment, staff development, team building, and performance management.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA, BS Required; MBA Preferred
15 years marketing experience in sales, brand management and direct marketing
15+ years leadership/staff management experience
Extensive experience working in direct support of a sales organization
Experience working with a distributed organization of independent sales professionals a strong plus (insurance, real estate, mortgage, financial services, etc.)
Proven success with organic revenue growth
Knowledge of and experience in Real Estate Brokerage industry and emerging industry models a plus
Strong financial acumen (sales and P&L management experience a must)
Out of the box visionary who can translate strategies into concrete tactical plans
A passion for growth, coupled with enormous energy and strong results-orientation
Willingness to identify strategic or tactical mistakes and adjust accordingly
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong presence and a high level of comfort presenting in front of large audiences
Team player able to build consensus, see the big picture, and work across functional and organizational boundaries

Ability to travel 35%
