THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:

8+ years of marketing in a consumer internet business
Experience providing BEST-IN-CLASS digital experiences for expansive consumer audiences.
8+ years of data-driven marketing with proven success implementing consumer acquisition and/or retention marketing campaigns with clear business objectives and targets.
Ability to build and lead a high performing marketing team including branding, social, digital, analytics, events, etc.
History of being bold and creative in your work.
E-commerce Marketing Guru with proven experience in online selling and lead generation.
Tech Savvy Marketing Pro who has dabbled in some high profile, industry changing E-commerce startups.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Plan, Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive both traffic and profitable sales growth.
Oversee all marketing projects, policies, objectives, and initiatives.
Own and maintain the annual marketing plan and budget.
Use data, information systems, and shopper trends to identify best practices to optimize online marketing performance.
Drive traffic and create revenue growth through the strategic use of digital tools, including email, ppc, display ads, Facebook, social media, search engines, meta search, OTA networks, review sites and brand sites; and more.
Work effectively cross-functionally to ensure team collaboration and promote a culture of continuous improvement; Report directly to the CEO.
Develop marketing team to own all facets of marketing- including content, website, demand generation, PR, analytics, social, SEO/M, events, etc.
Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth and monitor competitors’ activities.
Work closely with IT and other key teams as we develop, evolve, and conquer together!
WHAT YOU OFFER:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
8+ years of marketing experience in a consumer internet business.
A strong digital marketing background.
8+ years of E-commerce marketing.
8+ years of acquisition and retention marketing.
5+ years in a Marketing Leadership role as a VP, CMO, or Director
Experience in a high growth, high profile, E-commerce start-up strongly preferred!
Experience with cutting-edge and industry shaping E-Commerce companies !
Passionate about web design, web analytics, and driving revenue to a brand specific website.
Experience with proactive reputation management and brand development on social media platforms.
Experience building a world class team including hiring, coaching, developing and, when necessary, transitioning talent.
A track record of working effectively as part of a C-level team, staying on the cutting edge to proactively take advantage of new opportunities, challenging the status quo in a respectful manner and pushing an organization to test new and innovative strategies by building and leveraging strong relationships.
Excellent communications skills- Verbal and Written.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Experience running large scope projects with cross-over departments and large teams.
A hands-on, flexible team player who will work in a collaborative environment to drive projects forward.
A well-rounded leader who has business acumen/experience encompassing all areas of marketing (product, program development, digital/web/social media, strategy, marketing operations and measurement, research, events, PR, branding).
Analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills.
LOCATION: Local to or willingness to relocate to the Dallas, TX area.
