CMO – Progyny, Inc.

Based in New York, the CMO has dual responsibility, leading all corporate marketing efforts, as well as building and managing the Patient Solutions business. On the marketing side, this individual will be responsible for all corporate marketing strategies, including company branding, market research, marketing communications and public relations. In addition, the CMO will run the Patient Solutions business, which includes all of Progyny’s direct-to-patient fertility programs. A key component of this job will be demand generation and customer acquisition through a variety of on-line and event-oriented efforts that create awareness, provide education and engage patients to take action. The CMO will also be responsible for enhancing the current programs and developing new patient-oriented solutions, working with customers and stakeholders, and developing strategic partnerships around advertising, branding, etc.
The CMO will work collaboratively with the executive team, including the CEO, the head of Employer Solutions, the CFO and the CTO. The CMO will have a team of ~10 people, and will have the ability to recruit several team members.

Key responsibilities for the CMO will include:

Strategic Marketing: The CMO will have the responsibility for identifying and engaging with Progyny’s key customer groups, including patients, employers and physicians. S/he will oversee a department including market research, media and public relations, with the focus on enhancing the company’s brand and development/executing customer acquisition strategies.

General Management: The CMO will be responsible for the P&L of the Patient Solutions business, and will be expected to manage performance and drive growth.

Partnership Development: The CMO will be expected to identify and develop strategic partnerships with firms that can help Progyny meet its objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, agencies, corporate customers, etc.
