CMO – – Boston

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for is a senior level business partner who is a strategic thinker with an appreciation for niche marketing, and broad experience with brand development. The Marketing team is a critical component of our success, providing strategic and operational support that enables the exceptional delivery of all of our products and services.

We are looking for a marketer with a passion for storytelling and a preference for content. A strategic Executive who is a results-driven leader, dynamic in deploying both classic and creative new marketing tactics to build the brand and drive revenue growth. You will drive our strategic go-to-market, brand, and external/internal communications strategy.

We are looking for an Executive with a “roll-up your sleeves” mindset who leads by example and comes with a strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms, who can help us build upon, automate, and improve our strategies and operations to increase market reach and, ultimately, conversion to revenue.


A BA/BS degree /MBA a plus with 7+ years of marketing leadership experience. Some SaaS business experience is preferable.

Very strong content development/story telling capability

Strong analytical skills – having created lead generation processes and effective marketing analytic machines in the past that drive value for the business

Expertise with sales lead creation, CRM, web analytics, and multi-channel marketing

Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM such as Salesforce, Pardot, Hubspot etc.

Experience managing agency and vendor relationships (advertising and PR)

You have a “start-up” results-driven, hands-on mentality and visible passion for the business and industry

You are a problem-solver who leverages data and analytics to make business decisions

You possess an ability to operate successfully through periods of ambiguity and change

Strategic positioning experience, ideally in an aggressive, ever changing environment.

Proven track record of developing, managing and mentoring a professional team of marketing executives.
