Position Overview:
The Director of Messaging and Brand is a critical role that supports content success across solution units, roles and regions. He or she evangelizes content strategy best practices and facilitates content alignment and efficiency through a centralized, consolidated and coordinated methodology for content lifecycle management. This role is critical to communicate a shared vision for an enterprise-wide approach to content ideation, activation and curation of content. This role also supports taking content into visual elements of corporate branding and design providing a unified effort for worldwide marketing efforts. Ideally, this leader manages a resourced center of excellence ‰ÛÒ a team responsible for creating, monitoring, measuring and improving the health of the entire content and creative ecosystem.

Create comprehensive, enterprise-wide visibility for the strategy, people, processes, technology, measurement and creation that contribute to improved content lifecycle management
Architect external facing content for a solution unit‰Ûªs or product team launch plan, including the major themes that will be communicated into target markets, buyers, the industry landscape and key issues building messages maps and value propositions to be used in all curated communication deliverables
Conduct content audits for owned and third-party Web sites, customer portals, partner portals and internal data repositories; use a phased approach and a timeline that enables effective management of the scope and scale of the audit
Perform gap analyses on how the content inventory maps to internal and external audiences, along with their specific journey requirements
Facilitate a quarterly cross-functional content council to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and progress around content best practices and challenges with product management and marketing teams
Manage centralized editorial calendar and staff to support content visibility, transparency, production, brand governance and regulatory compliance
Champion for brand decisions and policies, driving creative marketing solutions, including but not limited demand center programs, market facing events, on-and-offline materials for customer and sales consumption
Provide oversight to the design of Entrust Datacard and all marketing communications deliverables including collateral templates, product literature, large format artwork, tradeshow graphics and event theming
Provide overall strategic plans and initiatives, ensuring delivery of high quality products and services consistent with contracts and agreements, helps manage financial and budgetary compliance, is responsible (with creative ideas and solutions) for revenue growth
He/She is responsible for setting the creative vision and maintaining the creative standards being aware of current communications technology and media channels, including digital, and having the vision to utilize them creatively for meeting brand marketing objectives
Review all design and production to ensure that projects sent out conform to the Entrust Datacard brand identity standards as well as corporate quality guidelines

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor‰Ûªs degree required
Ten years of b-to-b content experience, preferably a blend of content strategy, content creation, creative and solution/product messaging experience
Minimum five to eight years in leadership and management roles
Proven experience leading change and building consensus in a highly matrixed organizational structure
Strong leadership skills, excellent communicator, collaborator and presenter
Strategic communications, strong written communications and live presentation skills
Creative and enthusiastic individual, producing high-quality work that communicates effectively and is compelling to the target audience

This position is posted at our company headquarters in Shakopee, MN but open to other United States locations as well.
