We are seeking an innovative, results-oriented, Head of Marketing obsessed with creating great customer experiences. The successful candidate will drive step change improvements in Kindle content marketing reach and effectiveness. Build and monetize new, innovative marketing vehicles, including:
Improve direct marketing experience for Kindle customers
Improve direct marketing reach and effectiveness / ROI across device types and lines of business
Build / implement world-class customer lifecycle marketing (e.g., acquisition, programs for most loyal customer segments)
Create and monetize new marketing vehicles (of value to Kindle and channel partners) across customer touch points
Recommend improvements to Kindle site and device recommendation algorithms
Better leverage third party sources of Kindle content demand
Create additional ways to engage customers with Kindle Content – both individually and collectively
Dramatically improve business measurement and analytic capabilities. Improve the quality of actionable business insight to support improved performance across Kindle Content businesses :
Conduct deep “big data” customer and business analysis in support of broader Kindle content business
Improve Kindle content direct marketing success measures
Better instrument traffic and conversion measures across touch points
Create performance scorecard, competitive benchmarks to enable continuous improvement
Build and develop team, capabilities, supporting processes and infrastructure to deliver above business improvements, building upon existing Amazon team and resources
Integrate with internal stakeholders across Kindle and Amazon more broadly
Scale globally with the business
