Job Summary:

The Vice President of Marketing-New Concepts is responsible for all activities related to implementing go to market strategies for all EAI’s new concepts. Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction and oversight of all new concepts. The Vice President of Marketing-New Concepts will need to grow and expand current concepts includingDippedfruit.com & Edible To Go as well as conceptualize and launch new concepts that will become an important part of the EAI portfolio of business.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

  • As part of a growing/strengthening organization you will bring to life all new EAI concepts and put in place growth plans to reach business objectives

  • Grow our current concepts, Dippedfruit.com & Edible To Go, as well as research, design, and launch new concepts into the EAI portfolio of business

  • Develop the annual marketing plan for all new concepts and implement the strategies necessary to achieve system growth goals of our new concept initiatives

  • Provide leadership and/or support the design, development, and implementation of newproducts and new service lines within the EAI portfolio of business

  • Oversee and providemarketing direction to new concepts and conduct competitive analysis

  • Provide input and support to the Company’s leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements

  • Prepare presentations to explain the Company’s current and future new concept strategies

  • Conduct market research and provide insight on the feasibility of new initiatives

  • Work cross functionally with every internal department while leading strategically important new business initiatives

  • Demonstrate strong skills of persuasion while negotiating relationships and plans for new business initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • MBA in Marketing, Finance or Strategy required, equivalent experience considered. Academic and professional background should offer strong preparation for a highly strategic leadership role in an entrepreneurial environment. Candidate should have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at the Executive level, work with the CMO alongside a visionary CEO, be a member of a high functioning executive leadership team and define winning strategies and outline execution plans.

  • 15+ years strong, national retail management/brand management and operational marketing experience including 10 years leading high functioning brand teams in retail, CPG or other consumer services categories. Gift or Specialty Food retail experience is highly desirable.

  • Clear demonstration of executive leadership, team commitment and ability to influencehigh-level decision making.

  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing to a detailed measured marketing-based P&L in the context of a test and learn environment.

  • Contemporary experience utilizing a Business Intelligence system, including KPI dashboard is important.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply shopper insights, input from creative and strategic partners and franchisee partners to establish and adapt to best practices for these new businesses. Ability to formulate and gain alignment to new-to-world business strategies and entry plans on limited data.

  • Adept at resource allocation, navigating complex multi-channel organizations, strengthening franchisee relationships, and altering plans for best outcomes. Adept at defining organizational roles and shifting responsibilities for best outcome in a flexible, real time retail environment.
