The Director of International Marketing is responsible for coordination of the marketing efforts between the US headquarters and the UK, Australia and Canada source markets for Viking River Cruises‰Ûª and Viking Ocean Cruises‰Ûª lines of business. The candidate will have an MBA, solid background in Marketing Planning and/or Consumer Marketing, and experience with multi-channel marketing strategies including direct marketing. The skills required are to be well-organized and self-motivated, have an analytical background, and have a strong ability to define and scope meaningful analyses. The candidate must be a good collaborator, as they will coordinate across all marketing offices and work closely with executives in the UK and Australia. The candidate should expect to spend approximately 50% of his/her time traveling. The position reports directly to SVP of Marketing.

Job Description
‰Û¢ Coordinate execution of marketing efforts for the UK, Australia and Canada source markets.
‰Û¢ Development and preparation of long term and annual marketing plan for international markets
‰Û¢ The marketing plan covers such elements as: consumer research, demand forecasting, competitive analysis, fleet deployment, itinerary planning, product planning, pricing, determination of marketing mix, timing of marketing initiatives
‰Û¢ Monitor performance against plan and make proposals for corrective action
‰Û¢ Perform strategic business analyses
‰Û¢ Review marketing spend and analyze trends affecting marketing effectiveness
‰Û¢ Support cross-marketing channel analysis and reporting

‰Û¢ Minimum 5 year experience in Marketing Planning and/or Consumer Marketing
‰Û¢ Experience with multi-channel marketing strategies, including Direct Marketing
