With millennials on track to make up 50 percent of the workforce by the year 2020, employers might have to rethink the old way of doing things if they want to retain and keep that top talent.

At least that’s what Nigel Dessau thinks. He’s chief marketing officer of Maynard, Massachusetts-based Stratus Technologies.

“Millennials have drastically different career aspirations, attitudes about work and knowledge of technologies,” Dessau said.

That’s because changing times have led to different career goals and future plans between baby boomers, GenX-ers and millennials, he said.
